PART TIME SALES ASSISTANT


Mumami, a world of colorful handmade happiness, is looking for an enthusiastic and friendly part time sales assistant to join our team in the heart of Amsterdam. With a vision to create a handmade collection that not only brings joy by looking at it, but also by wearing it, Mumami has been offering unique clothing, accessories, room decorations, and the most delightful gifts for over 18 years for both kids and adults. All of our products are sustainably and ethically made to not only make people happy but the planet as well. Our production is based in Amsterdam and Bosnia and handmade by local artisan women.

As a part-time sales assistant, you will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming shopping experience for our customers. Your duties will include assisting customers with their purchases, communicating our brand, maintaining the store's appearance, and managing inventory. When needed, you will help our team with tasks for our online shop or social media. We are looking for someone who has a passion for unique fashion, strong communication skills, a friendly and professional demeanor to welcome our international clientele.

What we require:

  • Experience in a clothing store is preferred
  • A positive, friendly attitude by engaging the customer through conversation and service
  • Strong communication skills
  • Passion for unique fashion and appreciation for handwork
  • Excellent customer service
  • Reflecting our brand accordingly through communication
  • Residing in Amsterdam or nearby areas
  • Flexibility and preferably able to work one day during the weekend
  • High knowledge of English
  • Basic knowledge of Dutch is a plus
